Honeycomb for Android powered tablets

 

Today at CES, Google mobile released a sneak preview of Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the forthcoming release of the Android platform especially designed for tablet devices.

The new version was completely redesigned for the larger screen and includes many new features, including a new 3D interface, new widgets and an upgrade to the Android web browsing experience.

Honeycomb also includes redesigned versions of Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk with video and Google maps providing offline support for maps and more 3D features, and access to more than 3 Million eBooks from the new Google eBooks service.
