Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse, the new Family Guy video game comes as a collaboration between Twentieth Century Fox and Activision, and will be based on everyone’s favourite episode Road to the multiverse.
Members of the show’s voice cast and writing team will work on the game, says Activision and Fox in a statement.
With Activision at the helm, we’ve found a world class partner for a Family Guy consolevideo game. Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse will utilize the source material, including the talented voice cast and writers, authentic humor and subversive spirit of the series, giving fans a whole new way to interact with their favorite show.

The last Family Guy game was released about 6 years ago, and wasn’t very well received back then. In fact the game was disappointing to most (if not all) fans of the hit show, and it’s up to Activision now to take this into the next level and actually make something Family Guy fans all over the world will enjoy.
